an apartment for 800 a month?!?!
Creep. I love your videos @Betterment Boss
In the last year, my income has grown a great deal. In fact 8 months into the year and I’ve already made more money than I’ve made in almost any year of my life. My lifestyle creep hasn’t been significant, except in the fact that I’ve tackled savings and paying down my old debt a lot harder. We made a big milestone in saving toward our fist house, and I might be able to be credit card debt free by the end of the year. I finally started thinking about where I need to be financially and I’m really taking the steps to get there. It’s a great feeling.
True lifestyle creep is dangerous. I’m just grateful for having been broke as shit. Cos I still live like I am.
People should not allow employees to under- employ them with low wages normally offered to minorities. Statistics show that the same job that offered jeff a poultry $2.300pm would offer $4,600 to a White Male and $4,200 to a White female. Minorities hold down 2 -3 jobs because of the following: Underemployment. Intelligence profiling, Discrimination, Inflation, Background Check Scrutiny (Employers will go back 10 + years to find reasons to NOT hire a minority), Biases that affect salary and position.
Learned a lot…normally use to do the same..and come up with a lot of excuses
I have lost my job due to COVID19…
How does $485 + 800 = 2285??? Off by a $1000
2:50 To keep this from happening, I would do this:
I would negotiate with my boss to raise my salary at the start of each year (Jan 1st) by the inflation rate last year (Dec 31st). If I didn’t do this, the same money pays for less and I effectively make less money.
